Paint Party Friday #21

A month ago I was painting this plywood piece red over the butter coloured base.
The red rose is decoupaged, the girl is a Suzi Blu´s image transfered and the flowers are Making Memories with sewed buttons centers. Buttons and ribbon are courtesy of my friend Marja who sends me scrapbooking stuff that I can´t find in Buenos Aires. Thanks again Marja! I bought the red lace over 15 years ago in the UK.
Edited to add: this is still a work in progress, the girl needs some more colour work. :)

  12. Getting caught up today. I also like big, bold acrylics! With lots of colour. I love how you are always working away on yourself, but with compassion and a sense of fun, lightness and humour.

Suzi Blu makes stamps of her girls now too, if you haven't seen them. They very cute.
