So when Jamie asked "What do you wish to experience?" it brought me back to yesterday´s post.
I wish to experience the joy of moving my body.
I have as much movement (or desire to move) as a fallen tree trunk. I am no athletic type. I only passed my gym grades because I have a good memory and could recite any rules book for any sport and that gave me the extra credits I needed at school.
Daniel, who is the run/ride/climb/swim/row type, tried to make me run ... once. Just once when we were dating and that was it. He knew I was a no-go.
What changed? You ask. Well, the cross run for our kids school was the turning point. A small step later, or rather a lot of small steps later and I´m on my way. Just in time for some belly love at Connie´s too.
So far, so good.
Now I want to take it a step farther and I want to experience JOY. :)

I've been playing with this wish myself lately...and am shocked to find the joy that comes from movement. I honestly wasn't sure it was possible.
