last week I thought I had finished box #4. I brought it home and all was good until I put it in its place. Ooooooo, eeeerrmmmmm...no. Too yellow. The white base was showing too much.
Back to the working bench and load up the orangey.
I shouldn´t have gotten this close up. My lady looks a tad freakish from this distance methinks. Anyway, more oil pastels on to her face. Hair will be in acrylics.
Last piece, a black and white ad turned into colour with oil pastels. Pretty button with no use, but it was preeeeetty.

you have been so busy! Great box and I like the color,, the painting has a rather mystical quality to it and wow those smokey eyes on the third piece,, very haunting,
Paula, your face painting is mysterious, I think. I could learn from you how to paint people, something I want to do but do not have experience at. Yours is very nice.
Cool box, love the colors and the painting is so interesting! Happy PPF!
sorry you're not happy with the yellow, it looks ok to me.
Ah! Busy being creative! Wow!
thanks, namaste, Carol (Share the Creative Journey) Happy PPF ^_^
Yes, that yellow is brighter than you usually paint...maybe a light wash of a softer shade.
Can't wait to see your new painting when you have finished.
