For Art Every Day Month I show each day what I created the day before. This is my working table on November 12th.
Circles in oil pastels to try out the amount of colour according to pressure on paper.
Watercolour wash into circles.
* Funny how navy blue and red turn out paler than light blue and pink
* You need quite a lot of water to paint big areas or the brush will run dry before you are finished
* Oil pastels work as resist (I knew that but hadn´t actually tried it out myself) with watercolours
* If dry the previous colour will show through, if wet it will blend in something not always predictable
* Sometimes the brush may seem clean but it´s not. Remember the wash, dry, use clear water process from day 8.
Right hand side is structured and left hand side is not.
How to share with MrLinky: you type in your name in the first box (the way you´d introduce yourself) and then the url/link to your post (not your whole blog url) where you share your work with the current chapter. When you come back next week your name will likely automatically be entered but you need to redo or paste over the url/link with your new post's address.

Love Serena's art - thanks so much for sharing it with us! I like your watercolor/oil pastel project too - you inspire me to try things!
I'm a bit behind on The Artist's Way - just finished two tasks from Chapter 9, and now I begin reading Chapter 10 today.
Thanks for the write-up, Paula ~ xo
I love your art page and how you also share your experience with the different media and techniques.
Happy Sunday!
I also like Serena's art, particularly the colours she works with.
Your play for today is also very colourful :)

The Artist's Way is such a wonderful resource. I did the exercises/activities in the book about 8 years ago. I think it's time again to revisit the book. Enjoyed seeing your work table and the painting that you did. The bright, vivid colors caught my eye!
Oh, your colors! They are just so vibrant and playful!!!!!
Love the artwork you are doing for AEDM!
I am slowing catching up. I finished 9 this weekend and will finish 10 over this week.
Love Serena's work! I make sure to visit her site now that I met her through AEDM.
I love seeing your workspace every day too. :)
Great link up and I love that book also... Serena does amazing work, as do you and your sketch looks as though you had a great time doing it... got to love having this excuse to play xx
I have to say Paula you are so dedicated to your art. Love that about you, I wish I had your ambition. just seems theres never enough hours in the day!
