Rest In Peace Mónica

We met on our first day of Kindergarten back in 1972. We have been friends since then. We went together to primary and secondary school. We even shared a room on our graduating trip to Bariloche. She was my witness at our wedding (for the civil wedding here you need to witnesses to say you are who you say are and you are not being forced to get married).
She married the same year I did and had a son in 1994. We kept in touch via letters and then mails. I visited her in 2000. She came home several times. This March I took her to Puerto Madero to a nice restaurant and to see new parts of the city (remember the cow parade I told you about?).

Our third musketeer Silvina phoned me to tell me Mónica passed away a few days ago. I just couldn´t believe her and lived in denial for a couple of days. I finally found her obituary on line which tells me it´s real.

Paula, I just wanted to say again how sorry I about your best friend. It's a shock when anyone passes away but when they are so young it just makes no sense. I'm glad you have good memories and saw her very recently. Hope time makes it all a bit easier for you. {{{hugs}}}
