What do you wish to experience?

Wish casting Wednesday.
I turned the laptop on early. The earliest in the week. And I click on Jamie´s bookmark to read the question of the week.
What do you wish to experience?, she asked today. A few early birds had already worked with it.
A quick glance told me about joyful wishes of amazingness, happiness, freedom, hope.

I sit in my kitchen, the breakfast dishes still unwashed on the counter top.
I glance at the full moon boards folder and think.
I don´t feel particularly amazing, happy or free.

Not living in a "life is beautiful all the time" high, not living in a hole of dispair. That leaves me in middle ground. The flow continues: those bloggers in that type of paths are the ones that get the most attention. Visits, comments, links.

That takes me to what I want to experience.
I´d love to know what it is like to be popular. To be seen regularly and with gusto. To be left gazillions of comments. To connect every day with tons of people who really want to be here. To see my cyber tribe grow. To be called, to be e-mailed, to be asked for my work. To be liked. Big way.

Oh Paula, be careful with what you are wishing. I see the paparazzis outside, waiting for the tiniest move you make ("is this the postman going into her house? does she have an affair with him? let's browse through her garbage bin....")
*lol*
But I know what you mean!
I wish you tons of emails and always good friends to surround you! :) xo LW

Paula, Paula!
I like you! And I appreciate your sincere and loving comments on my own blog wishes!
You're doing what you need to do---you are being honest.
I am neither "high" nor "low"....ok, well, maybe sometimes I'm pretty low, like today.. :P
I strive for honesty in my blog posts, and I struggle often with how much honesty is TOO MUCH (you know, like--who wants to hear THIS?). But I see no sense in pretending to be something I'm not.

But, as Paula wishes for herself, so do I also wish for her!

As Paula wishes for her self, so I wish for her as well.

Like kazari said - 'know the feeling' - so much so that I even opened my blog place this morning to find both of my last posts ignored and thought to myself 'what am I doing wrong? Am I really SO unique (I always thought individuality was a GOOD thing) nobody connects with me OR so blah nobody cares. I'm figuring we're all just busy enough that read is as far as we get...

Hey Paula - you are popular - look how many comments you got already! This seems a good time to tell you that every time I come to your blog (and over the last few months I assure you it has been many times, though I don't always leave a comment), I absolutely love that picture of you by the falls. It's a fantastically happy shot - you look like you're enjoying life!

As Paula wishes for herself I lovingly wish it for her also.

And today you are even popular in Australia!

I'm wishing that a lot lately too. It's really intimidating to visit all the other successful blogger's blogs out there. What helps me though is to remind myself that those ubber successful bloggers started at the same place you and I are at right now.

Keep it up!

It will come with time...as a new blogger myself...since April...I would get discouraged at times and ask myself...Why waste my time...but then I would get some kind soul leaving be a long and heartfelt comment and all would be well once again. Blogging is time consuming, not only to post but to keep up with other blogs you are following, not to mention the time it takes to leave comments. Hang in there. Taking part in Wishcasting Wednesday itself will bring your blog a lot of attention and many will like what you have to say and come back for another visit.

As Paula wishes for herself, so I wish for her also!

As you wish for yourself, so I wish for you also! Here's to enough popularity to be uplifting, but not so much as to give you stalkers. :)
