This week is: "Same and different".
Part 1: Art Journaling. Acrylics and decoupage on magazine pages.
Same ad, same magazine, different issue.
On the left hand side the original ad. On the right hand side my finished page.
All the colours are what was left from my other wips (works in progress) as are the flowers that my daughter didn´t want on her jewelery shelf. It reads, "When someone is clear, and they take action from that place of clarity - then practicality has no choice but to move aside and let manifestation occur." This from Christine Kane´s newsletter. A close up:
Part 2: Art Journaling. Acrylics and stickers in journal.

Same concept, different media. Same pages I´ve been working on for weeks, different because they are finally finished! :D
Close up from my favourite side. Alpha stickers are white velvet, Black Tie font Thickers (by American Crafts) and jet Center of attention font rub on transfers (by Heidi Swapp). Hello Kitty image courtesy of Tatiana´s collection, unbranded puffy stickers and Making Memories rub on. It reads "I may not do it all – but I do a lot and do it well" Tara Gentile.
Part 3: photography.

Part 3: photography.
Same 365 project, different month. :)
Part 4: books on creativity.
Same because I´ve already been through this one in 2007, different because I´m at a different place now and I have a local friend to read it with.
"The artist´s way" by Julia Cameron. I will read the intro during June and will do the chapters from July 1st. One chapter each fortnight. Due to my crazy busy schedule doing a week a week is asking for trouble. :D The point is to relight my creativity, not to send me into a pit of dispair because I´m behind with yet another project!
If anybody fancies to join me and my friend Sabine I will be posting Check In posts on Saturdays from June 4th. :)

Great work, Paula! I especially love what you do with the magazine pages. So fun to work over those. And Hello Kitty, one of my faves to use. :) The Artist's Way is a wonderful program. I've done it a few times and always get something different from it. Enjoy!
I have all of Julia's Books. I'm thinking I need to revisit them. Loving everything you did here! Especially love the thought about manifestation. So true. It's just a matter of getting your head and your heart to agree. Have a great week, and thank you for the lovely comment on my blog. :-)

I love how you romanticized that first page...very nice! The other ones are funky and something my daughter would like as well.
PS - I found "The Artist's Way," and like you, I went through it a few years ago on my own (never got through it)...hopefully, being a part of a group will inspire us all. Add me to the list, I plan to join you! :)
