In case that made you hum the tune, here´s the video. Just because it´s so 90s cool.
Why am I talking about MIB? Because this week´s theme for me is PIW: Pieces in White. :D
Edited to add: all these pieces are "rescued" pieces. They were around the house and no longer fitted our decoration scheme that has changed along the years. The pictures on the left hand side are the pieces as they were until last week, the picture on the right are the pieces as they are today (all white).

Lots of sanding and white bases this week:
* Tati´s box for hair clips. This one is going to be pale pink and dark green as her necklace hanger.
* This one is for my kitchen. Red & cream decoupage. A touch of gold might find it´s way there.
* Another piece for Tati´s set. This one will be pale green outside and dark pink inside. Or I might change my mind. Who knows.
The big square is going to be a picture in reds and yellows with both small squares on it, one with transfer and the other decoupaged.

Next week: progress (hopefully ;) )
In case you were wondering, I posted the time schedule for our first month reading The artist´s way together. Over twenty (and counting) marvelous bloggers have joined the project. You can visit them by clicking on the link on my right hand side bar. If you want your blog to be added to the list, please leave me a note here in the comments.

You have some really nice projects going there Paula. You are a busy woman. I liked MIB too. Happy PPF!
beautiful HPPF!
Your boxes make me wish I wore hairclips (I have no room for a box in my tiny kitchen)...just to try my hand at something like that. They're beautiful AND practical. LOVE it!!

Happy PPF, loving your projects. Annette
Looks like you have been super busy...:-)
I love how you manage to upcycle so many things in your home - Everytime I change a colour scheme I end up getting new 'stuff' to go with but this is so much better - I can't wait to see how they all turn out!
PS - I have another friend, Serena, from NY, who would like to join us in The Artist's Way next month. I will pass the link to your blog to her, if that's OK.

So full of creative energy. Good on you!
I love the way you transformed these into even better looking and more useful items! The color schemes will be more updated and love the choices you made there, as well. Great work, Paula!
Great idea to reuse, recycle and repaint to create anew!
Looking forward to seeing what you do with these.
What a lovely way to alter those "rescued" pieces. Very creative.
