Advent 2011, Day 18: Last Check In

We have reached the end of the journey through "The artist´s way" by Julia Cameron.

Twelve chapters, twenty four weeks, twenty two original participants, twelve blog guests, hundreds of read pages, hundreds of written pages, loads of exercises, some dates and quite a number of Aha! moments.

Now it´s time for our last check in.

Are you going to keep your written morning pages? Are you going to keep your practice of writing them?
Are there tasks that you´d do again on a regular basis to keep your goals in sight?
Have you got plans for more artist´s dates?

How to share with MrLinky: you type in your name in the first box (the way you´d introduce yourself) and then the url/link to your post (not your whole blog url) where you share your work with the current chapter. When you come back next week your name will likely automatically be entered but you need to redo or paste over the url/link with your new post's address.

It´s been a pleasure and an honour to share this marvelous adventure with you!

Paula, thank you so much for hosting this. I have tried reading the book twice before but never finished. I did this time! Accountablility is a big thing with me. I definitely learned alot from the book although I did not do all of the exercises. I modified a lot of things. Instead of morning pages I am keeping an art journal which I am enjoying immensely. I also love my artist dates and will definitely continue taking them as often as possible.
Have a wonderful holiday season and thank you again. You did a great job and I am so glad I was able to experience the book with you and the others.

Paula, you did a magnificent job keeping us on track! I never would have been able to finish this without the support of our cybertribe - thank you so much for stepping up and accepting the role as moderator - it is much appreciated!

Congratulations on finishing it! I'm so proud of everybody who stuck with it. Paula, you did a wonderful job of organizing this! Thank you! And although I'm sorry for not following through, I'm trying to be gentle with myself. Life doesn't always go as planned!

I have tears in my eyes reading this. I'm sorry I fell off the bandwagon in the last couple of weeks. I honestly didn't drop the project, though. I was right there up until around mid Chapter 11, even though I had been falling away from doing the Artist's Dates and Morning Pages nearly as much. But, oh, the changes that came into my life from participating in this project! And I'm so glad to have met all the participants and made some new friends! You were a perfect hostess and project leader, Paula! You rocked it!! Now I think I'm going to get into The Vein of Gold, by Julia Cameron. I had it before buying the Artist's Way, and I think it's pretty much a lot of the same, but it's a great way to go over everything again from another angle.
