Week 10

As every Sunday this year (at least so far and hopefully for the rest of the year too) I will post my weekly summary for Creative Every Day. For third time in a row I have undertaken an "a picture a day" project, here´s Week 10. You can click on each picture to make it bigger. Every pic has been resized for  the web.

This week is aka "Can you believe?"

March 4th (64/64): Sunday lunch is a family affair at my in laws. Can you believe this is actually the first pic of the four cousins together? Our niece V is 2 1/2yo, Tati is 12 1/2, our nephew T is 3mo and Mati 16. Hubbie holding T.
Monday 5th (65/65): torrential rain. Can you believe it is only half past three? Looks almost like after sunset.
Tuesday 6th (66/66): one of Mati´s books. Can you believe the price? $167 is about 40 dollars. Don´t worry, it´s written on the shrink plastic that protects the book.
Wednesday 7th (67/67): getting ready for this month´s full moon board. Can you believe I´ve been doing this for three years now? Thank you Jamie for the inspiration and the support!
Thursday 8th (68/68): my Full Moon Board. Can you believe that the same things keep coming up again and again?
Friday 9th (69/69): Can you believe this is my first acrylic painting of  this year? More about it in my Paint Party Friday #52 post.
Saturday 10th (70/70): Can you believe I´ve been stucked in Level 55 for over a week? Arrrrgggghhhhh!
More creative endeavours. I´m delighted to be able to show you this:

Yay! Acrylics, watercolour pencils, brushes, inks and my beloved paperdryer (never use it for hair ;) ). And a WIP on the table too! I´ll show it to you next Friday for Paint Party Friday. :)

And also this:
When Liz from My Memories contacted me to review My Memories Suite v.3 the words "without" and "complicated" together totally got my attention. This is a software to create digital scrapbooks, photobooks, cards, calendars and gifts. As my word for 2012 is "expand", an opportunity to expand my techniques was certainly welcomed as I had never tried the digi world.
To begin with, let me tell you that the process to download the software is really easy. Very clear instructions all along and smooth streaming.
When you start creating you may choose one of the templates provided (yumminess galore!) or making your own design. Today I will tell you about the templates that are provided which are plentiful and you can also add more from the My Memories site (there are many free ones too!) or any other one.
I had a look at all the pages of the album and chose my pictures accordingly. As I wanted to add more pics I used the option to add pages which can be used as a mirror for balance too. I was surprised by how smart the programme is to fit the pictures into the frames, placing the heads in the best possible position. The adding of text was very easy too, with cute little buttons with drawings that explain what they do. I even dared adding some embellishments!
All in all a fun experience ... and a completed album! My mom will be soooooo happy! :D
Here´s my first ever digital scrapbook page.

Do you want to try it too? ONE lucky winner will get a copy of the My Memories Suite v.3!
Leave me a comment here and I´ll add you to the draw. Are you a follower of my blog? I´ll add a second chance for you as a Thank You! Want another chance? Tell me which is your favourite theme to work with.

The watercolor image is beautiful! Looks like a great set-up on the table with all the supplies. Would be fun to have a day just to play and experiment with everything on the table.

I use digi images instead of stamps sometimes but have never ventured into the world of digi scrapbooking. Your digi page looks lovely.
