My first post as a guest blogger today! Day 4 of Blogtoberfest is brought to you by yours truly. :D
Interested on a set of prompts and blogging tips for the whole month of October? Sign up for Blogtoberfest 2012, taking place at Kat´s place this year! Participate as much or as little as you´d like to. :) Come and play!
Thanks for inviting me today Kat! You can read my blogging plan tip and prompt here.
My turn to write about my own prompt. :D
Last time we counted we had over 120 photographs on display. No surprise there, right? I´ve been a Happysnappy for over 40 years. ;)
I asked my family which THEIR favourite pictures were. Tatiana (our daughter) chose this one (it´s my favourite as well). An embroidery map of Cheshire stitched by me in 1995.Daniel (hubbie) chose a set: we bought the two frames on the right at a craft fair on our first wedding anniversary. The top one has a photograph of me taken by him in Malvern in 1994, the bottom one a print bought in York on February of that same year. The picture on the left is a blueprint of A La Ronde, a house in Exmouth.
Matias (our son) chose a set as well. The two frames with their baby photographs. Sweet! This is his, which was a present from a family friend on his birth day.
There are also some empty walls at home. Even after 15 years of living here! I took this pic right before writing this post. :D
Room for art. This prompt made me actually LOOK at the walls. I feel the energy shift.
Watch this space! I´m sure you´ll read about home refurbishing soon.
Thank you for coming by today! We can keep in touch here (there is a following Google tool on my side bar) or at my Facebook page by clicking here. Daily art, prompts and tips till the end of the year.

Oh Paula your post is beautiful. Isn't it interesting to get a glimpse of your loved ones likes and dislikes in such a simple way? Looking forward to seeing something gorgeous on those blank walls ;)
Nice to see which photos are the family favourites. I've been living here for just over five years and I only have one multi-picture frame of family photos on display. Mostly art adorns the walls. I keep saying I want to print out some family photos for display but life gets in the way. Maybe it's time to put in an extra effort and get it done. Thanks for the motivation ~ xo
What a funny co-incidence! I'm sitting here visiting a few Blogtoberfest blogs and discussing with my husband what to put up in the lounge. We decorated in April and the walls are still bare!
