Week 03 2013. More Patagonia views and my first guest this yea: Lindsay Drya Vanhove

For Creative Every Day challenge 2013 by Leah Piken Kolidas, I´m taking at least a picture a day for the whole year. This is my fourth time around with the Pic-a-day project and at the end of each month I make a mosaic of the month´s pictures and also summarize it in numbers for the My month in numbers feature by Julie Kirk. I´ve taken 020 out of the possible 020 pictures for 2013 so far.

Each week I make a cover page for it and I also invite an artist to make a piece (any size, anytechnique) for the week´s number which I will publish on Fridays.
Weeks available if you want to play along and be published here: 05, 07, 11, 12, 14, 15, 16, 17, 20, 21, 24, 25, 26, 27, 29, 30, 32, 33, 34, 35, 36, 38, 39, 40, 41, 43, 44, 45, 46, 47, 48 and 49.

For week #3 my guest is Lindsay Drya Vanhove.

Lindsay is an artist, a dreamworker and an oracle reader. You can find her at her blog Dryada Journals where she writes about art and creativity, photography, her inspiration, personal stories and products she loves. Her page with her service offerings will be up at the end of this month. Go visit her and enjoy her colourful and inspiring art.

Her piece to represent number three is an art journal page with 3 macro shots of the page. She transformed the piece by making colour corrections in Photoshop.

And now, on to the week´s summary in pictures:
Monday, Jan 14th (014/014): my cousin Pablo, his son Santiago and Daniel ready for a bike ride. My cousin and his family (that is his wife, his three kids, his sister-in-law, her husband and their daughter) arrived yesterday and will stay in the area for two weeks.
Tuesday, Jan 15th (015/015): Tati was not feeling well today so we stayed "home". We are living in the right hand side part of the first cabin.
Wednesday, Jan 16th (016/016): lake Guillelmo. This area is good for trout fishing. We didn´t bring fishing rods but we had a bottle that Tati used to fish baby trouts. They are very docile and actually played along, entering the bottle to investigate. All four were given back to the water after the photographs. :)
Thursday, Jan 17th (017/017): lake Guillelmo again. Getting the dust off the car with a camping pot. It kept both entertained for a longtime. ;)
Friday, Jan 18th (018/018): painting by the lake. This is the finished piece.
Saturday, Jan 19th (019/019): Maggie´s birthday. We went to my cousin´s place for her party and brought her an ant´s laboratory as a gift. All the kids had an awesome time putting it together and looking for bugs.
Sunday, Jan 20th (020/020): around the neighbourhood ;)

Some bonus pics from the week:

I just discovered a comment from you in the spam filter of my blog. Sorry about that! I came looking for the birdie. Couldn't find it. Do you really think I would know its name? If it doesn't come up my way, I probably wouldn't. But I would still like to take a peek! Thanks for thinking of me.

That certainly looks like a beautiful place! Great idea to make a "memorybook" like that!
I'd like to play along with your guest-posts, somewhere from week 11 on. I'll just need a reminder I'm afraid .... (still not very organized, but I'm working on it ...) ;-)

Beautiful art by your guest artist and what a week you've had! When it's so cold and wintry here, it's hard to imagine warm summery weather! Wonderful fun!
