March 2013 summary / April 2013 plans

For Creative Every Day challenge 2013 by Leah Piken Kolidas, I´m taking at least a picture a day for the whole year. This is my fourth time around with the Pic-a-day project and at the end of each month I make a mosaic of the month´s pictures and also summarize it in numbers for the My month in numbers feature by Julie Kirk.  Here are some inspirational instructions on how to go about it.

I´ve taken 090 out of the possible  090 pictures for 2013 so far, here are the 31 that I chose for March from the 160 I will be keeping: CLICK ON ANY PICTURE TO MAKE IT BIGGER
1 teen back home. Mati came back from spending the summer in Germany as part of his school exchange.
921 photos edited from his trip.
Back to school: Tati is in Year 2 and Mati in Year 6, his last!
1 pretty candle bought.
2 workmen are working on a humidity problem at home.
we lost count of the boxes we got rid of.
5 Sunday lunches at my in laws.
I´m not telling you how many years old my mother in law was this month! ;)
2 parents and teachers´mettings attended
1 Easter bazar
1 old typewriter came home with us. The kids were fascinated with it and mom was surprised I could remember so much on how to make it work properly. :D
1 Full Moon Board
1 pretty package from Brianne Boyd - Sweetlimes
Many Easter cookies eaten.

"We are 3 months into 2013. Are you on track to meeting the goals you set for yourself at the beginning of this year? Or is it time for some reflection, planning and up-leveling? Take some time to celebrate all that you have accomplished." Leela Somaya

I´ve been checking in with my 50 things to do in 2013 list, after an awesome start now I slowed down a bit. Need to focus again.
Plans for April:
* For my decluttering and organizing spaces series I will be working in the bathroom. Check back on Sundays for very easy, doable tasks to streamline your home systems and find more time and energy to be creative! Want a reminder, tips and daily real life stories? Like my Facebook page.
* I´m participating in the Ultimate Blog Challenge with a post a day.
* I will make my Full Moon board with Jamie Ridler
* I will make a few scrapbook pages for my UKScrappers´team and a couple of cards

I've been thinking about getting an old typewriter ... I just need to find a cheap one somewhere!

Your son must have had some wonderful stories and photos to share after his trip.

I've added you to the board now: http://pinterest.com/notesonpaper/my-month-in-numbers/

Thanks for joining in once again, happy April!

Julie :-)

Your travelling teen seems so much more grown up in these photos - bet you are glad to have him home.

Love your numbers this month.

Pretty candles, ooo ahhh, I like - a lot! I don't think there's much a pretty candle can't cure. Enjoy relaxing. X
