Late Christmas cookies

Every year for the past five we have baked Christmas cookies
December 2008 has been overwhelming and the cookies just didn´t happen.
Today mom came for a visit and we baked Cantucci. These are almond cookies, that are left to harden so you can make them wet again with warm milk or something a bit more ... spirituous. *giggle*

 They are quite sweet as they use 1 kg of flour (half leudant and half 0000) and one of sugar, plus 8 eggs and 100 gr of butter. Just add the stuff in that order in a bowl and work with your hands to mix it. Make 5cm rolls and bake for 25 minutes at 160C. Take the rolls out, cut them in 1 cm. strips and bake again for 10/15 minutes.
