Cousins, layers, scraps and teeth

I sound like a cowboy movie. :D

Right after I told my UKScrappers teamies I hadn´t scrapped in a while I went  to my scraproom.
I had seen a layout by K3 at the top of a scrapbooking site which used some Scenic route papers I had.
Using the same line but not the same papers I finished a page called "Cousins hug" That´s my son at age 6 and one of his younger cousins.
Still on the cousins theme. For the second page I used a picture taken in 1968. My focus was on the two kids holding hands. Two of my own cousins: Alejandro and Beatriz. It is for their section of the family album, although you can see our cousin Marcelo on the far left. I have no info on the two girls in the middle, they must have been relatives / friends kids from my uncle´s side. And the little one with the round face, holding on to that cushion ... yes, it´s me. :D
I still don´t use as many layers as Tracey does but I´m getting more details in.

Now on to the scraps. As I don´t have access locally to scrapbooking papers I always make the most of what I have and work a lot with scraps. Here I used side B of one of the previous papers and the same side of another.

That is dh with the kids on their first day of Kindergarten back in 2001.

On other news today: guess who lost two teeth this week. :)
