Flower crown

I want to try new crafts. Sounds kind of lame, doesn´t it? Not wwwwwoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooowwwww, you are doing something so new, fresh and brave. But it is something I haven´t done. Take this for example:

This is the flower crown Tati is going to wear for her first communion. My mil has the magazine because she is making her the dress, so I made a copy of the crown to make it myself. I have all the elements ready.
Will I be able to make it? Will it look nice enough? *shudder*
That is the biggest thing I need to overcome, the "what will other think of my product?" and also the "this is so new and scary because I will fail miserably at my first attempt" I know you are rolling your eyes by now. I would too. ;)

As Paula wishes for herself, I always lovingly wish for her as well.

I have been enjoying your cards btw. Are you thinking Etsy shop?

And nope, not rolling my eyes at all. I think stretching yourself artistically is a great wish, and I know it's a scary thing too, to put something out in the world to be "judged". But of course I would understand, seeing as we are sisters ;)

I can't wait to see the finished crown. How special for her that her mom and grandmother are conspiring together to make her a beautiful outfit for the big occasion. She is gonna look like a little angel.

As Paula wishes for herself, so I wish for her also. My wishing well is full and I wish you well!

I love the sense of accomplishment that conquering a new craft creates. It is rare for us mommies to feel that because our work is neverending, but revel in it. I can't wait to see the finished product!

Bueno! The crown will be beautiful, but not as beautiful as that little girl on her blessed day.

As Paula wishes for herself, so I lovingly and with intention wish for her, also!

No eye rolling here...setting out to create something new SHOULD have a sense of anticipation, wonder and, yes, even doubt. That is what makes gazing at the final product so rewarding.

Just go for it. It matters not to your little one if it's perfect. What matters is that you made it.

As Paula wishes for herself, so I wish for her also.
