My quote of the day comes from Rennata Tropeano. I will print this and put it somewhere in my craft room.
Working on improving is very different than expecting perfection.
I had been reading "The power of intention" by Wayne Dyer at the bank. Yes, I was using my time in a positive way while waiting. ;) It said something about accepting the connection to the source or something in those lines. I began humming "I sing the body electric", going over and over the "and I burn with the fire of ten millions stars". And I hummed all the way home, daring to sing (softly) for half a block. *grin*
What to do with that? Lifted myself. I decided to re-make the sun I had drawn and painted with pencils, using acrylics this time. I know, not a good idea. But, hey, I tried. :D
I also finished the scrapbook pages I had started, with some bonus points for my team at UKScrappers.

Thanks Paula! I am quite thrilled that you quoted me. I love the song you linked, I remember listening to it the first time and thinking this is what music should always make you feel.
I think painting the sun with Acrylic is a good thing in that it was a learning experience and learning is good.
Thanks again,
Rennata
I have been diving into the whole law of attraction and power of intentions concept for the past 5 months. It is quite remarkable and yet so simple.
What a great quote.
Oooo, Fame - that brings back good memories (and some not so good...reminded me of all the times I ended up with sore toes after ballet classes...pain LOL)
Toni :o)
Coming here is like getting a shot of sunny vitamin C! You're happiness is infectious! Hugs! Love the sun :)
I also read while waiting in the bank line. Sometimes it makes for great conversations with the bank tellers... *smile* So grateful to know you through Art Every Day Month - your painting is so bright and inspiring!
I think your sun paintings are lovely!!!! They seem happy and energetic!
