My first real Art Journal LOVE

My answer would be about a matter I´ve been pondering for months now: to actually DO something. My hubbie told me once that I am the perpetual student but I don´t put my knowledge to use. He is a very practical man. ;)

I wish to come out by showing the world what I DO.

Months and months after enroling in Connie´s class "Art Journal LOVE letters", I finally took the brushes out.
Scrapbook paper and acrylic paints.
Trust me to start by Foundation # 3. Lol!
Gridlock ready.
Lots and lots of paint. A bit of gel medium too.
It dried very quick. I´m either using too little or using it wrong.
Some American Crfts rub on letters (Trademarks Eddie) and same make black bird. Black bird as in Blackbird. I was working on one of Julia Cameron´s exercises from The Sound of Paper. Yes, I love my multi tasking. :D

The rub ons letters were a gift from Marja that arrived yesterday. My public thinks to this very generous lady that helps me out with my crafting. There are no local scrapbooking stores in Buenos Aires and the dollar / peso ratio is a budget killer.

We are too much alike! I've taken several (a dozen?) ecourses/workshops and hesitate to jump in there or, if I do follow the lessons, I don't post my results anywhere. Good for you for tackling Foundation #3 and posting your results. I'm in AJLL, too, and that was one of my favorite lessons.

I love it, I love it, I love it! I was also drawn right to the grids- I haven't been able to play with my journal this week (argh) but the first thing I was going to do was create a bunch of grid pages since something about them appealed to me right away. I LOVE the papers you chose- so beautiful.

PLEASE keep showing us more of your journal!

As you wish for yourself, I deeply and truly wish for you, also!

I love a little DO action! That is great, Paula. You not only wished, but then just did it. So do we even need to do anything? lol..

Ha, ha, ha. There is nothing wrong with being a perpetual student. Well, I guess I get your hubby's point, too, though. The pages are beautiful.
