Starting from scratch

September 1st!!!
I´ve been raring to go for days now. :D

Ann is starting her SOFA project, which a ton of friends is joining.

I´m starting The sound of paper: starting from scratch by Julia Cameron. It has 70 different assignements. At one per day Monday to Friday, it will take me till mid December to go through it.

I´m also starting Taking flight by Kelly Rae Roberts. Those are 7 chapters.

Of course immediately Matthew 18:22 sprang to mind:

Jesus said to him, “I do not say to you seven times, but seventy times seven."

The concept is one I´d like to meditate on, and it grew close to my heart. So I gathered what I will need: the book, a folder to write the asignements everyday (with butterflies because we are heading towards spring here) and a big notebook to write my morning pages. I added foam flowers and 70x7 in Thickers.

EDITED TO ADD: I wrote this post last night and programmed it to be published very early this morning.
When I went to check Jamie´s prompt for today, she asked: What do you wish to begin?
How´s that for a sync? ;)

I wish to begin my creative unfolding, like the trees leaves that are unfolding in my back yard.

Love your list, Paula! I also love both The Sound of Paper and Taking Flight (I really do need to work all the way through those, now that you mention).

As you wish for yourself, so I wish for you as well. Enjoy your journey with the books!

I hadn't heard of the book by Julia Cameron...I 'began' The Artist Way some years back and just let it go. Sounds very interesting! :)
