AEDM 2010: Day 2 Scrapbooking

When easing back into scrapbooking after a while I always "scraplift". That is when you use somebody else´s work as inspiration for your own.

On my first AEDM day I scraplifted Cathy Zielske´s "Make page Monday" layout for November 1st 2010. I´ve always loved her graphic design style. She was also one of my muses to take up running.
She used 6 pictures in 3"x3" and a big journaling block. I´m a "fill the frame" kind of gal and didn´t have any pics to fit that sketch, so I moved things around a bit and used bigger pictures and tags. Those are clothes tags from the clothes we bought for Mati in Miami back in July.

Background paper is Prima and the scraps most probably WRMemoryKeepers, a gift from my scrapbook fairygodmother Marja. :D The flower journaling tag is K&Co.

For those who already know me ... Yes! You will be seeing those papers tomorrow again. ;)
For those who don´t ... I´m a scraps scrapper. First 12"x12", then 8 1/2"x 11", then cards, then ATC. No scrap is left behind. *giggle*

Your scrapbook page is a lovely keepsake. I hadn't heard the term "scraplift" before. I study Ikebana (Japanese flower arranging) and just now I was visiting a blog of a person who is more advance than I am. I was thinking of doing an "ikebana-lift" as I was inspired by what he had done and wanted to try it for myself. Ha!
