Advent 2010, Day 2: Writing and Wii

Reverb10
December 2 Writing.
What do you do each day that doesn’t contribute to your writing — and can you eliminate it?
(Author: Leo Babauta)

Let´s seeeeeeee: What do I do every day? Give or take a few activities:
Morning routine: breakfast (tendering to my family / nurturing, helps), cleaning the kitchen (grounding activity, helps), making the beds, dusting, putting the washing machine on (tidying gives me a pretty/soothing environment, helps), Pilates/Yoga (taking care of my body, helps me have enough energy), shower (idem), checking the forums, Facebook and blogs (connecting, getting to know personal stories, listening to different voices and different points of view, helps)
Afternoon routine: pick kids up from school (joy! def. helps and talking to other moms too), ironing (mindless activity, I dream and plot, helps), tea (yums! treats help), helping kids homework (if they are fine, I´m fine, helps), making and eating dinner (we all need some balanced energy sources), general chat with family, visit the Blogosphere, post, comment, go to sleep.

Hey, babes! It ALL helps. By taking care of my family, my home and myself I create a lovely place to be, by talking to others/reading what others have to say I refill my stories well. By writing ... you know. ;)

December View for December 2nd:
Mati finished school on the 30th. He had passed all his 12 yearly subjects plus his Deutsche Sprachdiplom 1 in the Top 5. To give you an idea on how difficult this exam is: only 32 of the 68 students that sat for it passed it.
He had been eyeing the Wii for over a year now. Soooooo ...
We joined the Wii ranks. :D We bought a second hand one to one of Tati´s friends that didn´t play with it any longer and had it in mint condition.

You create a beautiful world and life for your family. Now you're going to have to much fun! I really want to get the Just Dance games and Zumba! Have fun and go slow. It takes a while to get used to using those muscles.
