What delights do you wish for?

Simple ones. Breakfast with hubbie. Mango jam, homemade by auntie Tita. Mate. Web surfing.
Later, a visit to my local friend Sabine to work on our books: The Artist´s way by Julia Cameron and a "paint on wood" one.

We are working through the introduction now and we will be starting Chapter 1 on July 3rd (we work our weeks Sunday to Sunday). We will be reading one chapter each TWO weeks. Taking it slow and deep in between housechores, kids school work, family and the million crazy things we do in our daily lives. If you feel called to join us, just drop me a line in the comments and I´ll add you to our "Artists in thir own way" bar. I´ll be providing a MrLinky space each fortnight to share our experiences.

Talking about sharing. You can find more wishers here at Jamie´s original post for todays Wishcasting Wednesday.

Edited to add: this is the table that was waiting for me at Sabine´s. Homemade ricotta cake and capuccinos. *Slurp*

As you wish for yourself, I wish for you as well.
I have the Artist's Way and may stop in from time to time if that is ok.

I too would love to join in the Artists' Way. I have started it several times and got bogged down. Now is the best time - summer starting and time on my hands to devout to a slower walk through it! Thanks Paula!

Are you familiar with Walking in This World: The Practical Art of Creativity by Julia Cameron? It is meant to be a sequel to The Artist's Way. She refers to it as the "intermediate" level. She uses the tools of Morning Pages and Artist's Date, but adds one more tool - Weekly Walks (about 20 minutes at least once a week). Some of you might want to consider adding that tool, also.
