Paint Party Friday #21

A month ago I was painting this plywood piece red over the butter coloured base.
The red rose is decoupaged, the girl is a Suzi Blu´s image transfered and the flowers are Making Memories with sewed buttons centers. Buttons and ribbon are courtesy of my friend Marja who sends me scrapbooking stuff that I can´t find in Buenos Aires. Thanks again Marja! I bought the red lace over 15 years ago in the UK.
Edited to add: this is still a work in progress, the girl needs some more colour work. :)

Getting caught up today. I also like big, bold acrylics! With lots of colour. I love how you are always working away on yourself, but with compassion and a sense of fun, lightness and humour.

I like the contrast of the bold red and the sweet girl. Romantic and passionate!
Suzi Blu makes stamps of her girls now too, if you haven't seen them. They very cute.
