Paint Party Friday #27

Art Galore! Yes, all at your fingertips. Visit Paint Party Friday today to see it all. :)

My week´s work:
More faces on backgrounds:
This new face started as a white oval, and not copying faces from magazines like last week.
Want a closer look of the texture? White base, solferino (brownish/burgundy red), paper napkin and a bit of white gesso that was left on my brush after painting the white ovel. That is a characteristic of my work, I use e-ve-ry-thing. No drop of paint is left behind. :D
A failed experiment.
Ink brayered on foam figure. The figure was too thick for the brayer to be able to ink closer to the border. I was using them as masks.
Good unexpected thing: the foam figures worked as stamps when I closed the book.
Today: working on geometric shapes. I´ve already painted two blocks and moved the tapes for the next. The plan is to stamp circles or ... who knows. :D
I´ll be visiting you this weekend, start the kettle, I´ll bring the biccies. ;)

Great experiments; you might try using a stiff stencil brush to get right around the edge of the cutouts. Happy PPF!

Your a true explorer of art. Adore it when an experiment gives you a truly beautiful gift in return....unexpected from your initial idea.

Oh, that's cool I like the stamp effect! I also have a very difficult time leaving any paint/material behind...that's how we learn!
