How do you wish to be loved?

I wish to actually recognize the love that is being sent my way.

I get too caught up in the day to day bussiness of life (and I also mean BUSYness of life). Things that need to be done asap for tasks to be completed. Run, run, run.
And then something happens, like this package arriving home (sticker album used to cover my home address and the address of the sender).
I´m reminded how grateful I am to have met Serena. She is one awesome artist and friend. She lives in New York, knows the coolest places around and makes pretty things like the mosaic that you can see in the picture. She also sent me an inspiring book and vintage Halloween cards (which are already part of our decorations). We visit each others blogs, leave comments and generally share a warm & fun friendship.
Of course there are several kinds of love. Like the one showed by my kids who pose once a year in front of their grandparents white azaleas. An overzealous gardener cut them too much a couple of years ago, so the plant is a bit "light" but no spring is complete without this picture.

From what I´ve written so far, I think I wish to be loved in a practical, everyday, thoughtful gestures way. :)
To read what other Wishcasters are wishing for this week, read Jamie Ridler´s original post. (The permalink to that particular post is 404ed, you need to go to her site and look for October 12th post) :)

This is a great post Paula. It is important to recognize the love that is sent our way each and every day. Thank you for your message of love sent today.
I also want to thank you for hosting The Artist's Way. It has been a wonderful way to go through the book. I've not only gotten to know other interesting bloggers but have learned much about myself. You are a wonderful hostess and I appreciate what you are doing so much.
As you wish for yourself, I wish for you as well.

I love the whole "practical, thoughtful way" as well - I wonder if I should have mentioned it in my response!

As you wish for yourself, so I wish for you to have forever :-)

Well first of all, As Paula wishes for herself, so I wish for her also! Much love to you, my dear friend. I'm so glad to have found you, as well. I'm forever grateful to Ily for sending me your way. I am so glad you enjoyed the package!

What an adorable home you have! Just from the wee bit I can see in the pics, it looks absolutely charming. And what a great photo of your kids! They're love and your daughter looks so much like you! Big hug, my dear!!
