What do you wish to create?

Ye Shiwen - London 2012
On Saturday morning I told Daniel I felt like Ye Shiwen but swimming in a round pool.  Ultra speed, taking me nowhere but fast. Loads of splashing around, albeit not the fun kind.

I need to know where I´m going.
I NEED A MAP.
Quinn McDonald gave the idea of working with cards. Those could contain little bits of the whole BIG idea. Only my plan was to stick them on the wall instead of throwing them on the floor like she did.
A candle, cards and pretty colours
Starting with a blank space aka dining-room wall

Let´s start with the "You are HERE" bit.

A few years ago my friend Ching told me she was surprised by how much more cheerful and open I was at a British scrapbooking board (UKScrappers, you can find me there as Paula) than the American one where we had met (the now defunct Cropper´s Cottage). Nowadays I have extended my Happysnappy persona to all the English speaking sites. That is my FULL VERSION. I called it EPIC because it made me smile.

There is an EDITED VERSION of me because you know ... I´m a mom (of teens no less!!!) and I´m not out to embarrass my kids. Their friends know I´m funnier than other moms (and somehow confuse them because I enjoy things like animé conventions as much as they do) and but I take care of not going overboard.

Why do I have a STEALTH VERSION? I´ve got a mail for contests and all kind of cyber junk mail. I also want to support (and keep an eye on) my boy´s sites without being tracked back because he has never said his real name/school/private data for security reasons. In case you are curious: he has a YouTube channel with Pokemon, Bakugan and Beyblade games and merchandising tutorials. He´s got over 1000 suscribers and over 500 FB fans. *yes, much more than me*

In summary, and to answer Jamie Ridler´s Wishcasting Wednesday question today:
To begin with:  I wish to create an accurate "map of me". Where am I at this point? {Now I´m going to fill these cards out with names/addresses/passwords to have the "skeleton".}
As a second step: I wish to recreate my story {How my constants played a role in my life}
And finally: I wish to create a plan {I´m going to expand my map with the content part to follow that with the plans ideas.}

As Paula wishes for herself, so I wish for her also.

Not an easy task, just when we know who and where we are, it all changes. Good luck with it!

This sounds glorious! In fact, a "map of me" sounds like a budding e-course (just sayin').

Oh, what a great idea - I have been buying little yellow post-its, too, for a different project, but nevertheless. :)

Go Paula! I ended up making a fabric map and hanging it on my wall, so I can adjust my goals - coz my post-it notes kept falling off my wall *giggle* Good luck with your journey x

Paula, this is a wonderful idea that could benefit lots of people. I am still so grateful that you hosted the Artist's Way group last year. I agree with Jamie this may be the beginning of something that lots of people need.

As you wish for yourself, I wish for you as well.

Definitely, life is meant to be epic!! Live to your fullest and be HAPPY!! Embrace the moment by loving yourself, by BEING your best self while fulfilling all your roles and responsibilities in life. That is equally as important.
