Taller mAnUfActA´s owner Lía Pichon Rivière is my guest today!

If you are coming from Paint Party Friday, this is the only paint I played with this week, but I will show you what Lía Pichon Rivère may do with a brush!

In my quest for a simpler and fun filled life I´m having a look at my wardrobe this month (I´ve been in the kitchen in September and my music and movies collection before that).

I met Lía the way you do on the net: perusing my friends FB likes. Lol!  She´s one of those very few artists that I suscribed to on my first visit. Her work is fresh, fun and colourful. A true reflection of her personality!
She has awesome pieces which she shows on her Facebook page with intriguing clues on what she is working on before the big reveal. As she is a fast worker you don´t need to wait for them too long, which is good as I always want to know what she is up to. ;)

We are remodeling several rooms and I asked Lía for ideas on how to keep Tati´s clothes and accesories tidy in a fun way.
Here´s what she suggested:

For a unified look you can transform your wooden hangers into this colourful array with a decoupage technique.

Out of season clothes can go into boxes. Gloves, scarves and hats may find a cosy home here. The colours are easily adapted to any decoration scheme and personal taste.
Trinkets galore! All earrings, bracelets and hair clips will have a central hub and will be easily found. Again, colours and embellishments can be chosen according to the user´s taste. For example, the purple peace sign was a special request from a client.
This techniques can be used on furniture too! You can choose a complete set or just add a touch of colour to your decor.

You can find taller mAnUfActA on line through her Facebook page for daily updates on new pieces and her taller mAnUfActA blog for in depth articles.

How cute! But it makes me glad I have a boy, so all I ever have to do is slap a Miami Heat or Chicago Bulls logo sticker on anything in his room and we're done.
