Week 28 2013 The pictures that weren´t

For Creative Every Day challenge 2013 by Leah Piken Kolidas, I´m taking at least a picture a day for the whole year. I´ve checked 193 out of the possible 195 pictures for 2013 so far. Click on the pictures to see them bigger!

With David, our German exchange student, here I thought I´d have a ton of pictures. Alas, it isn´t so. Life is going at the speed of light and they are living it to the fullest without a glance at the camera. Strange, I know. ;)

Monday, July 8th (187/189): we took David around our own neighbourhood, showing him the lay of the land and our own personal landmarks. No pics outside but I remembered to  take this one at home to send to his mom.

Tuesday, July 9th (188/190): the city centre. We visited our main square with the presidential house, the Cathedral and other public buildings. Also the main pedestrian street, the obelisc and the widest avenue. We had lunch at a traditional restaurant before heading back home. Movie night for David and his girlfriend who is also here as an exchange student but staying at one of Mati´s classmates´s home. No pic of cinema either.

Wednesday, July 10th (189/191): a whole bunch of Argentinian and German kids went to the Unicenter shopping mall. This is all I have to show for it.

Thursday, July 11th (190/192): today they visited another shopping mall. This time to the Dot shopping mall. Tati invited her friend Candela home and had a great time chatting before their theatre class. Yes, I forgot to take that picture too. *sigh* Picture taken veeeeeeeeeery late, just before bedtime. The title is "Cande was here" :D

Friday, July 12th (191/193): Whew! Finally! I remembered to take the pictures today. Marius (G), Matias (A), David (G) and Emiliano (A).

Saturday, July 13th (192/194): a few months ago I met Paula and we felt an instant connection. We have so much in common! From the name to being born on a 12th and also having the same birthday as our own sons. She is a lovely lady and I´m so glad that our paths crossed. She invited us to her birthday party which was certainly sparkling. :)

Sunday, July 14th (193/195): after lunch at my in laws we took David to San Isidro to see the Cathedral and the craft fair. Although this is my chosen picture of the day we had many more both from lunch and dinner with their friends at home. See the bonus ones at the end of the post!

Bonus tracks:

Walking around the city centre.
A full house at tea time. Tati and a friend / Mati and his friends / hubbie and my cousin Pablo. Fortunately I had enough mugs for everyone. :D
Sunday food:
at my in laws, 11 for lunch
at home, 12 for dinner

It must be great for the boys being able to see each others homes and also to learn what folk from another country think about the things they grow up surrounded by. Mati had that experience over in Germany and now David is sharing it over with you.

Wow Paula, that's a ton of pictures! I can't imagine taking a picture every day (or even what to get a snapshot of)... but I guess if you're a shutterbug, it would be easy! :)

How long is the German exchange student going to be with you?

Toni, the boys are a whirlwind! They visit and sometimes stay at each others homes everyday. *whew* There is always some plan or the other, although they are learning to organize themselves better now.

Bonnie, I´m a complete shutterbug. That is why my blog is called Happysnappy. :D David arrived a week ago and is staying till the end of August.

What fun you've been having! And even if you missed a couple things, you still seem to be capturing a lot!

Oh, and I can't believe it's so cold there by you!

Have a great week!
