Aww shucks... no sweets? But mooooooom! :)
I know I said it before but I am loving this advent calendar! It's a real "prepare ye the way of the lord" experience, it's so neat to see a child taking this season so seriously and sacredly.
I read somewhere that advent used to be like lent, where there was alot of spiritual discipline getting ready for the big events of both seasons. This calendar really inspires me even tho it's written for kids.
And yes, of course you are my paula! I loved your pretty shiny tree! If we had kids there is no way we could go tree-less - and I love that your ornaments have stories and histories. That's how it was in our family, part of the reason I remember the tree so fondly
