Because it´s September

Update time!
This August´s mosaic could be titled: a sparkling month of Food and School. Lots of my Sparkles e-course activities, several school events and lots of food pics (even Frida´s food!) I missed only one day for the 365 project.
Leah´s totally optional theme for August has been RED. So here goes what´s red in my daily life:

This post has been written on my kitchen´s table. One (yes, only one) of my kitchen walls is red. My Sony laptop is red, as are my Sony headphones and Sony camera (notice a trend? ;) ). I also work with my tiny Genius red mouse. :D
My artist´s way project set is mostly red based. Some things are pinkish, some burgundy. The second piece from the left is my morning pages notebook. I´m on day 61 of 168. It´s only logical to be joining Jamie on her Morning pages for September 2011. Wanna share the ride? Check her post here.
This pic was taken a few minutes ago in my kitchen. This wall is yellow (can you see the red one at the back?) but my clock is red. I´m also dressed in red today. This is my final picture for the Sparkles e-course by Jamie Ridler to go with the one I took on the first day. I will be posting the final summary soon.
Talking about projects and sparkles. My eyes sparkled at the word "lists" on the project my lovely friend Kathryn posted she had joined. That would put this pretty red notebook to good use. ;)

Another sparkling week (#2)

Second week of Jamie Ridler´s Sparkles e-course.
This is moving my energy, I tell you.
Every morning at 11am I get my e-mail which is perfect for me as I can fit the prompt somewhere along the day.
This week a lot of synchronicities happened in the way that a few of the suggestions were already taking place in my daily life or I had done them a few days before.

Day 8: this sparkle by Christen Olivarez involved an iPod. I actually KNOW she didn´t imply I should have an iPod (which I didn´t). Any mp3 thingie would be ok. Even my laptop was good. But as much as I had so far resisted going Mac (i´m a PC girl, Daniel is an everything Mac fan and even Tati had saved for her own iPod) I now sooooooooo wanted an iPod.
Let me introduce you to my Kepler. Kepler is the name of Nasa´s project: a search for habitable planets, that is exactly what my iPod does!

Day 9: Kate Swoboda ´s made me think. And then made me work, just in time for the Full Moon. :D

Day 10: Suzie Ridler´s turn to Sparkle. Have you visited her foodie blog? It will make you drool and go to your kitchen. :) Adding a bit of pizzaz to my polenta that day, inspired by her.

Day 11: Danette Relic stated that this mission is a secret! So I´ll keep it that way. ;)

Day 12: another of my blue hands pictures fitted the bill for Amanda Oaks´s Sparkle. I love the multipurpose posts. Lol!
Day 13: this one looked extremely difficult but huge fun. It was. Thanks Jennifer Lee for something totally new to try. :)

Day 14: Christine Claire Reed´s prompt involved this. Real colour is "you-´ll-make-us-all-blind-with-that-bright-orange". :D
Wanna play too? Find Jamie´s course here. Registration is always open.

A sparkling week

Last week I started receiving the Sparkles e-course mails and got to work with each of them.
I took some of the exercises and completed them as they were prompted to a T. Others, well, let´s say I tweaked them a bit to fit me. Better say that I tweaked them until not even the author would recognize them. :D
Day 1: Jamie Ridler marks the start of the sparkling time.
Day 2: I wonder what Andrea would say about this. But there is a relationship, I promise. A very long winded stream of thought jump from one thing to the next type of relationship. It sounded totally logical at the time. :D
Day 3: got colourful with Connie. Played with my Wishcasting Journal by Jamie Ridler.
Day 4: Christine sent me in search of old notebooks. As in really old. Think teen age years old. Not doing the math. ;) And no, you don´t need to do something similar. It is only where it took me. And that was fun.

Day 5: if you think about Susannah you think about photography. If I say Happysnappy, you think about pictures as well. Ok, this is one of the exercises I tweaked to do on the road.

Day: Another opportunity to play with my Journal thanks to Kimberly
Day 7: delightful in a stretching, relaxing way. A real sparkle to your day. Doing what Annabel prompted involved some of this
and some of this.
Looking forward to next week. Not only the sparkling exercises but getting to know these fab teachers a bit better from their cyber homes.

I´ll be sparkling for a month

Got 5 minutes?
Today is the day I start to Sparkle with Jamie Ridler.
Is it really past 10.30pm? Yups, but you can always take 5 minutes to be creative. :)
